In this section, you will find the customers that have bought something from me and relentlessly hounded me (after they receive their items, mind you) for a refund. Because they are so desperate for attention that they insist on getting back their money at any cost. They love to start drama with sellers, ANY sellers, and I just happened to be of the people they bought from. Keep in mind, I have sold to many many people over the years, and I only have ONE negative feedback. After which, this "buyer/freebie fisher" admits that SHE is the one with the mental issue. You will find all info below. I will try to make this as thorough as possible.

Transaction Details/Story
You can read all of the following parts of the story and more at: Ioffer. My username for this story is tafkate. I have a second account on there named ladymax, but that's another story for a later day. Anyway, I have fansubbed Sera Myu on dvd there as well as PGSM or Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon. This buyer comments on my PGSM listing, asking if I offer labels for my dvds. We chat back and forth and finally she decides to order. She pays through paypal and I accept. I get her order ready and mail it to her within 3 days. Mind you, she ordered a 17 disc set of DVDs, including labels, so I think that's a pretty decent time frame. Anyways, I included insurance for her, but tracking was not available. She posts that she got the package on April 15 and that the "Package in good condition." Here's where the trouble starts.

She then replies not 4 hours later, saying and I quote:
"Apr 15, 2009 8:12 PM I don't not want to be harsh with that message but I can't help myself and post it. There is the list of all the ''deceptions'' that I got with the DVDs you send me. As a honest customer I got to tell you this:
1.They have take a LOT of time to arrive. Wich is NOT your fault, I'm aware of that, but I've paid a good price (especialy when the Canadien $ are low) for a quick service.
2.Jewel Cases arrived broken so I find myself lucky to get the discs intact.
3.One of the DVD (the Sailor V Act) got a imcomplete Menu, like I said on the other message.
4.The picture quality is GREAT but do not get the full-screen on my PC, wich I've expected for any Great-DVD encoding...
The point is that's the 3rd time that I got trouble with some products I've brough from IOffer and since the buying I do with you is the 3rd one I feel like that's not a good website to buy things. I'll surely close my account soon but before that I REALLY need to know if you can refund me, even it thats just partially, for the DVDs?"

So I read over all of her "concerns" and calmly reply with this:
"I'll answer each of your problems, one at a time.
1. You had a choice of shipping, you chose Priority Mail, and I PAID for Priority Mail shipping. I can't make the post office send things faster. I wish I could, but that was out of my hands.
2. If the jewel cases were broken, take pictures of how it arrived. Repackage the whole thing up and take it back to your Post Office. I'll take your receipt that I got from my post office and tell them that your items were broken in transit and I want them to do something about it. (That's what insurance is for. I've never had any trouble like this, so I'm not sure what will be done about it. But I can try.)
3. The thing with the menu is, at the end of that disc, there are 17 different 30 second clips of the actors having their last comments about the show. I thought it would look really cluttered to title each individual 30 second clip when you can just click the first one that is titled and it will play them all, one after the other.
4. I'm not sure why the picture is small on your computer. I check every disc thoroughly on a dvd player before I send them out and yours were great: No skipping or jumping or freezing up."

As you can see, I am trying so hard to fix and explain all of the "troubles" that she is having with her purchase. It only goes downhill from there.

She then responds with pictures that she took of the "damage". The day after, I call my Post Office and talk to them. I explain what happened and then later that same day, I go talk to the lady there. Here is my response to cotesuz:
"I went to the PO and talked to her. She said that the person that has the package that's damaged needs to take it back to their PO and see what can be done. I can't do anything else on my end because it's not in my possession. She said that usually to file an insurance claim, you have to give the goods back to the PO and tell them they are damaged beyond repair before they will file a claim to try and get your money back. I don't know what else I can do for you. She said she'd keep checking into other options and see what happens. Let me know if you take it back. "

She responds that she has everything ready to be mailed back to ME and all she needs is an address. I figure I'll try even harder to help straighten this out and respond with this:
"Actually, there might be an easier way. If you don't mind paying for shipping (I'll send it first class this time if you don't mind; since priority mail took just as long). It's cheaper. Anyways, since you are offering to pay to send them back to me, if you'll just send me some money for First Class shipping, I'll send you out 17 more Jewel cases and I'l bubble wrap the heck out of them to make sure they don't get crushed. Since the discs are fine and play fine. I think they are small on your comp because I put a black border around the episodes. If I didn't do that, the subtitles are too wide and you can't read them, especially when there is writing on the top of the screen and the bottom, too. It always cut it off. But if you want me to send you new jewel cases, please let me know! The black border is a lot smaller on a tv screen. I never really checked them on a computer since most of my customers want to watch them on tvs. But one last thing: I don't know how many colorful jewel cases I have left. They come in packs of 50 colored/50 black, and I have a lot of black with clear tops left. Would those be ok if I don't have enough of the colorful ones? I can send you a pic of one if that helps. Please let me know!"

Do any of you see a pattern here? I mean, in my opinion, I am trying SO HARD to please this customer, but nothing is working! Do you know of any other sellers that would do all this for a customer? Most sellers I've bought from are all "You bought. You paid. You got the item. Case closed." They would not put up with this crap for one minute, let alone DAYS. And it keeps getting worse! Read on.

She responds with this:
"It's really nice to offering me some new cases but I'm really not satisfated with the product. I'm ready to do antyhing for a full or partial refund. That's the frist reason I wanted to return the DVDs to you..."

And again, my next response:
"I'm sorry that you aren't satisfied, but I didn't lie to you. They are high quality dvds, and I sent them to you. I don't accept returns due to the fact that someone could get them and make copies and then want to return them.

Again, if you want to pay shipping, I'll send replacements for your broken jewel cases."

Then she responds by FILING A DISPUTE against me through Paypal and IOffer. Way to go!! I get really angry here and decide to do a little background check on Miss Cotesuz. (Something I should have done from the start, but I am really trustworthy and gullible so I didn't. I just trusted her without checking first.) Apparently, she has done this to a LOT of sellers before she got to me. And most of the time, she got a refund!! How about that. So here's my response to her "dispute".

"Look at the feedback that she has left other people before she bought from me.

SHE IS A HABITUAL COMPLAINER, ALWAYS TRYING TO GET FREEBIES!

"I don't know what the controls is to respond at a dispute so I put it that way: I only ''complaint'' when its neccesary. I've buy lots of stuff from Ebay and Amazon and I've never complaint to others sellers, expect when I found that some sellers out there have sell me some bootlegs or defective DVDs... And I do my best to be polite with you, even if that pervious comment make me angry. I'm a really perseverant person for the thing that I judge right so if I got to use Paypal to file a dispute, and to get some of my money back, then I will do it. And, I forgot to say, I havent kept the other DVDs from these sellers. Since they got some problems, I've throw then in my garbage. They are at the city dump by now... She then responds with this, followed by a bunch of other feedback that she has left for others on Ebay. (I deleted that because this is getting huge.)
"*sigh* What in the world I put myself in? Maybe I got some dissatisfaction with some items but NOT all of them! Why does only the bad thing about me get out in this dispute??? That's not fair! I always try to be polite in every situation with every seller and I'm HONEST in my feedback. What is wrong with that? Someone who work at Ioffer should study the case and get a final decision. Thats would be more simple because we can 'fight' like this for days and days and that would NEVER finish."

After that, she responds with reasons WHY she keeps complaining and getting refunds from sellers. And I respond:
"In your first message to me, you said the package was in "good condition", but that there was no protection for the cases. At this point you did not mention anything about broken or cracked cases. Why would you not mention it now, in your first message when you mentioned that they were not protected with bubble wrap? And why on earth would you describe the package as "good condition" if so many of the cases were broken? Do you not realize how suspicious that seems? You're contradicting yourself.

You also said that the DVD's worked great and had great picture quality. It sounds to me like you were pretty happy with the DVD's, right? The only issues you have with the DVD's themselves (the confusing menu on one and the lack of full-screen when viewed on your computer, something I do not advertise them having, by the way) are issues I have clearly explained to you. In both cases, the quality of the DVD's are in no way hindered. If you absolutely have to view DVD's in full-screen on your PC, it might be a good idea for you to specifically look for auctions that advertise such a feature on their DVD's, or ask the seller before buying. Many commercial DVD's released by major companies do not include full-screen mode either. Even you admit that the DVD's have great picture quality and play fine. You admit that they work. A lack of a full-screen mode is not grounds for a refund, especially since you never mentioned requiring full-screen mode before buying.

I have tried very hard to appease you. You had a problem with the jewel cases, I offered to replace them. You were not satisfied by that solution, so you shifted gears and said you were not happy with the DVD's themselves, and you wanted to return them for a refund (after you have had time to copy them, of course). Everything you have said and done has seemed very suspicious.

I only pointed out your numerous complaints to other sellers because you seem to constantly nitpick about the things you buy. I realize customers have a right to complain if they are not happy with the product they bought, but you seem to take this way too far. You even complained about prices being too high, when you were the one who agreed to those prices when you bought those items. If you really felt that the items were not worth those prices, why did you buy them? It doesn't make sense.

The fact that you have received so many refunds is, again, highly suspicious. Anyone can get a bad deal once in a while and get a refund, but you seem to get them alarmingly often. And even though you claim to have thrown these items in the garbage, you have absolutely no way of proving that claim, and I don't think many people would believe you.

In nearly all the cases where you got a refund for DVD's, you complained about silly, nitpicky things, even after admitting that the DVD's work. And when you did have a reasonable complaint, there were offers to fix the problems that you refused to accept, instead insisting on refunds.

You're just upset now because I appear to be the first person who has not immediately caved in and given you a refund because you found some tiny little thing to complain about.

You may think you've figured out a great way to get DVD's without paying for them, but sooner or later sellers are going to start noticing your pattern of buying DVD's, complaining, and insisting on refunds. When that happens, no one is going to sell you anything, because you are what they call a "problem buyer". No one wants to deal with a problem buyer."

Her following responses are all together here:
"I totally undertand that some of my comments or actions can be kind-of-suspicious but the only reason I have not said everything at the frist place its because I was too quick in my comments/actions, wich always happen. Whnen I was writing the comment about the packtage, saying that its was fine, I havent open the jewels cases yet so I didnt know they are going to break when I opened them. When I was saying that the picture quality was great, I meaning it. It IS great quality, only the black borders was getting on my nerves. AND I do not do all that insisting just for fun or trying to cross you. Not at all. I was just expecthing something else...For the ''good condition'' packtage, by the way, I was talking only about the box you use to put the cases in, not about the cases themselves, and since the box arrived with no holes or drit on it, it was in ''good condition''. (And I've put the comment before I notice that the case were broken.)Of course, I respect your opinon but I'm not an problem buyer. I just only got trouble on ioffer because I was enough... stupid... to buy Home-Made DVDs, thinking foolishly that they will work to my taste. That mean Perfect picture and sound Quality, full-screen mode, with case/insert/labels, wich mean PERFECT THING and no one in the world is perfect... That's why I said on a other comment that I close my account after this dispute is over. (Especially that I know now how to make Home-Made DVDs,like PGSM, myself.) That's why you may find me picky, dishonest, always complaining, problem buyer or what not, but when I buy something I expect to be in a like-perfect-state. If is not, I geting in Fight-For-Refund Mode and things like this dispute arrived. For ''the high price'' thing, I've buy the less costly game but I was finding the price sill high. What's the problem with saying that? My autistic way of thinking said that is right, like all the rest. What should I do then? Give up??? That cause me so much pain... All of this. Alright that it. She left me a negative feedback and I left her one as well. I thought that was the end of this mess. Boy, was I wrong!!

She comes back after a month or two, posting my personal information and complaining about me on the websites ripoffreport.com and comlaintsboard.com I find her on both places and we go at it again. You can read some of it here: Ripoffreport. She deleted all of the stuff on the other website, so I don't have any copies or links to that. She then follows up with a bunch of Refund requests through paypal. I keep deleting them and she finally files a dispute with Paypal. Which they CLOSE and RULE IN MY FAVOR within 5 minutes of her report!

She sends me a couple of emails that I will post here:
"Hello.
I don't know how to start, since I must be carfull about what I wrote here, so I simply put it like that. I've read you e-mail and, as I understand, you ask me to ''chill out'' a bit. I just cannot after that happend on ioffer. Did I cause you so much trouble with this? You have ask me to use proprer English too. Not only that was kind of offensing but my main language is French so my English is not perfect. About the ''sue'' actions, this is a very serious matter and I belive you be able to do this. However, how will you proceded? We are not in the same country, the city where I live spoke French as main language - not English - and for the harrasement argument, what kind of harrasment did I do to you? I don't get it. Did I put death treats upon you? No. Did I being vulgar with you? No. Did I try to hurt you pyhsically or even try to kill you? No and I'll never do something like that. The only thing I can put in would be your reputation as a online seller but you put me in some bad reputation too, by saying that I'm a mishonnest buyer, a freebie fisher, tell the others sellers to avoid me etc. That hurt me a lot physiologically, make me cry often and lost some night of sleep, so its a quite situation for both sides. Even if I wanted to remove everything I put about you online, like on the Complaints Board, its just impossible to remove them. I've ask the site once to remove them and I never got a awnser. For the other two its the same thing but I'm sure nothing will hapeen to both of us. The IC3 complaint have been put more then 3 week ago and I got no news. So why going to the court for that if nothing will happen to you? I can just - like - stop taking to you and try to remove the complaints and that would be over but after all the pain I get from you why stop now? I've already lost quite a lot of money from mihonnest sellers on Ebay, - that was for some retun and refund of LEGIT Region 4 DVDS - and I don't want to loose more. Easy as that.

You say that you were trying to be polite to me through this entire ordeal, but I can't agree with you. You were the one that filed all those claims against ME, trying to ruin my reputation. Then when that situation ended, and we agreed it was over, you come back after a month or more to start trying to bully me into giving you a refund on Paypal. I didn't say anything. I just deleted your requests and ignored it. Since that clearly annoyed you, you went and started posting my personal name and address all over the internet! I never posted your real name/address. Ever! But I wasn't going to sit back and let you rant all over the place and say nothing. So I sent you an email and asked you to drop all of this or I would have to take action. You refused, so I had the right to state my side of the story on those sites that you posted about me.

As for you being autistic, I understand that. But that does not give you the right to keep bringing up stuff from the past, trying to insult me for everyone to see, after we AGREED that the case was over. I never called you or your mother a monster. I just don't understand why someone in your family doesn't try to calm you down and help you in certain cases. If they know that you sometimes overreact to small things, they should try to help you be more understanding. I removed a lot of the stuff that I said about you. RipoffReport doesn't remove any posting that someone makes, even if that person requests it. So that part will stay. But you can go and edit out my last name and address. I don't care that the report will stay: There's nothing that can be done about that. But I want my last name and address removed. That's dangerous. You never know what kind of person might see it and try to find where I live.

All I have to say is just please, leave me alone. I will leave you alone and we can just go about our lives.

So then after all this, she sends me "nice" messages on my Youtube account! Here's one:
I still fight for the removal of your personals infos on Ripoff Report but those working here dont care at all. Thats sick! I do my best so this really bad situation for the two of us can finish well and that what happen. *sigh* I should have NEVER put that damn report in the first place!

By the way, I visited your website and its sooo cool! I got difficulty to access the sections below the chat box thought... Do you have that sort of difficulty? I'm just asking because maybe I'm doing something wrong with the mouse or something. I've also visited your MySpace. Its cool but, without being rude, you must have been REALLY mad at me when you write your last blog entry. I remember to be so piss off that day that I've send to you a email of apologizing... I was hoping that it would be taking off but I do NOT force you to remove it since its YOUR MySpace and you can say what YOU WANT about anybody on it.

I am so sick of this moron named cotesuz on most websites! She is the most vile, disgusting excuse for a human that I've ever had the displeasure of coming in contact with! She bought some PGSM DVDs off of me a couple of months ago. She said they were broken when they arrived. They were insured, so I told her to take pictures and send them to me. I got the photos and only the cases were broken. I took all of this info to the Post Office and talked to the lady there. She said the person who has the item/package had to get in contact with their PO and file a claim. I told cotesuz this and she said no. She didn't want to do that. She wanted a refund. I offered to replace the broken cases for her numerous times. Still, she refused and said she didn't like the DVDs and wanted a refund. I said I was sorry, but I wouldn't do that because someone could copy the discs and then want their money as well. She went crazy on me! She filed a complaint through Paypal and Ioffer.com. The paypal one was dismissed in 5 minutes! IOffer said they weren't going to take any action, either. She agreed to drop the cases against me. She left me negative feedback and I left her one as well. That was the end of it. She deleted her account after that. You can read all of this here:

She complains and threatens them until they give her a refund. She's a FREEBIE FISHER and a HABITUAL COMPLAINER! And she's a disgrace to the English language. Trust me. Read her posts. So now she's taken to posting my real name and address for people to see online. That's harassment. So I posted hers as well. Sellers: BEWARE THIS PERSON! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Just drop it and go on with your pitiful life. AND LEARN TO USE PROPER ENGLISH!!!!!

Do you see the word "sue" anywhere? I sure don't. She is a LIAR. And she needs help.

Again, I thought this was all over, so I went and removed everything I'd ever said about her on my sites and profiles. Until she shows up AGAIN on my domain just a few days ago! (In Sept 2009) She posts comments in my guestbook annonymously, saying I am a "bootlegger and scammer". But her poor typing skills give her away and I figure out who she is!
